I first interviewed Lesley Risinger in her small, windowless office in Seton Hall School of Law. Around her were papers and folders and shoeboxes of papers sent to her by New Jersey prisoners over the last couple of years. She’s made it her mission to help to free New Jersey’s wrongfully-convicted. Her work and her fascinating personal story were the subject of my piece for New Jersey Monthly Magazine.
